Morning Word
Stop living your life so comparatively. Comparison is the thief of joy. You have to be happy with who you are and what you have going on in your own life if you want to maintain a steady level of happiness. Just because you are single and you see that your friends are in a relationship, it doesn’t mean that everything is perfect in their world. Just because you are in a relationship and you always see another couple taking trips and going to extravagant places, it doesn’t mean that they do not have relationship problems just like the next couple. Stop comparing your life to other people and using it as a gauge for validation. No one has a picture perfect life or a picture perfect relationship. When you can appreciate the things that you already have in your own life, you will spend less time trying to see what is going on in everyone else’s.
